Friday 9th July 2010 Day 27

Today we saw Glamis Castle which was the Queen Mothers family home. We went around the grounds looking for squirrels but couldnt find any. We had a cuppa in the former Victorian kitchen. At Stirling we saw the Wallace Monument. After walking up a steep pathwe then climbed 246 steps to the top. It was an amazing view and the rain had cleared so we could see lots. We were staying 3 nights in Edinburgh at a place called Portabello which had a beach and we had a very long walk on it. It was great.
